League announces players will engage in a 'variety of engaging activities' in place of the scheduled Jan. 31 game in Las Vegas. Voting will still occur to name Pro Bowl selections, the league itself plans for the actual game to return following the 2021 regular season.
The league's memo suggests that selected players will participate in virtual events to be held connected to the Pro Bowl. The game's cancellation will mark the first time since 1949 the league will not have an actual 'All-Star' game.
