Dallas Cowboys organization announces passing of strength and conditioning coach Markus Paul at age 54. The news came approximately 36 hours after Paul reportedly collapsed at the team's training facility.
An All-American safety at Syracuse University, Paul spent five years with the Chicago Bears before he embarked on coaching. In addition to the Cowboys, Paul also worked 11 years with the New York Giants along with previous stints with the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots. Paul was greatly respected by his many peers in the NFL fraternity. Condolences go out to Paul's family, along with many other colleagues and others whose lives he touched during his career.
