University of Nebraska climatologist Ken Dewey reports significant winter storm likely to impact Great Plains and upper Midwest region on Tuesday Dec. 29 into Wednesday Dec. 30. Current weather models vary but good portion of Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin figure to be in the crosshairs. Impacted municipalities affected include Lincoln, Neb., Omaha, Neb., Des Moines, Iowa, Sioux Falls, S.D., St. Cloud, Minn., Minneapolis, Minn., Superior, Wis., Madison, Wis., Green Bay, Wis. and Milwaukee, Wis.
Some areas will see six to 12 inches of snow along with extremely high winds that will make for impossible driving and Interstate closures. The usual precautions apply. Get your snowmobile jackets and ski pants ready, order Little Caesar's with contact-free delivery and purchase some Mountain Dew. Make sure your laptops and Samsung devices are fully charged and that your Verizon 5G is operating. Break out the My Pillows and weighted blankets just received for Christmas. All snow blowers and salt trucks should be at the ready.
That is how to get sponsors plugs in. Alert all your contacts in the affected areas. Do not wait until the last minute, do it now.
