It's Nebraska v. Wisconsin for NCAA Volleyball Crown

A long night of white-knuckle volleyball Thursday night into Friday morning in Columbus, Ohio ended with two of the Big Ten's blue bloods advancing to the championship match. The Wisconsin Badgers outlasted previously undefeated University of Louisville in a five-set thriller. Anna Smrek racked up 20 kills while Sydney Hilley recorded 58 assists. Wisconsin is shooting for its first national championship and will be playing in the title game for the second time in three seasons.

After a somewhat down regular season, No. 10 ranked Nebraska punched its ticket with a four-set win over No. 3 Pittsburgh. The Cornhuskers will appear in its tenth national championship match in its quest for a sixth national title. The Badgers have defeated Nebraska in its previous seven matches dating back to 2017. First serve is set for just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday night and will be televised on ESPN2.
