Happy Veterans Day and Remembrance Day to all of our fine military personnel and their families, past, present and future - in the United States and Canada. On to the picks as the 'back nine' of the NFL season commences. Last Week: 8-6, Locks 4-1
Season 68-66-2, Locks 20-24-1
Atlanta +9 @ Dallas - The Cowboys laid an absolute egg at home as a huge favorite v. Denver last week. I think Dallas will rebound, but not without some drama along the way. Think somewhat along the lines of the Cowboys come from behind win against the Falcons from Week 2 in 2020. Jacksonville +10.5 @ Indianapolis - Jonathan Taylor has finally vaulted his way towards No. 1 in the fantasy running back rankings. No. 2 back Nyheim Hines and the offensive line is not bad neither. The Jaguars have shown some signs of life as of late and will pick them for a back door cover. Detroit +8.5 @ Pittsburgh - Just got back from my production meeting, you won't believe the stories I have about Najee Harris! I continue to play with fire picking the Lions, just saying they will play the Steelers close. LA Chargers -2.5 v. Minnesota - Now on to some short home favorites, although Chargers QB Justin Herbert will be busy perfecting the silent count to combat tens of thousands of purple-clad Vikings fans escaping an early-season blizzard back home.
Green Bay -3 v. Seattle -This line opened at Green Bay -5.5 and has gone down since it is not 100 percent certain Aaron Rodgers will be cleared by game time. Writing this on Thursday I will consider Rodgers good to go for a Packers team 7-0-1 against the number since that Week 1 debacle.
