KACMEDIA Week 16 NFL ATS Picks

Updated: Dec 27, 2020

Merry Christmas from KACMEDIA studios, where all inhabitants remain safe and healthy. Must mean Week 16, on to the picks.. Minnesota @ New Orleans - I am hearing it from my Minnesota audience for picking the Vikings several times this year, only for them to fall flat on their face. A Rasmussen poll just handed to me gives Minnesota a whopping four percent chance of winning. Put it this way, it is supposed to be 50 degrees outside at kickoff in New Orleans, and the Vikes have to come in like an Arctic cold front, make the Saints feel like they are in Duluth! Tampa Bay @ Detroit - Interim coach Darrell Bevell and two other assistants will miss the game because of Covid and special teams coach fired for taking it upon himself to call a fake punt. You can't make this up. The Lions appealed to have this game rescheduled, but the league wanted no part in tinkering with a Saturday triple header handpicked a few weeks back. Tampa an easy call. San Francisco @ Arizona - The battle of 'State Fart Stadium', to air on some streaming or internet device. Cards must win to hold on to their playoff spot and should do just that. Miami @ Las Vegas - Dolphins must leave Las Vegas with a win Saturday night. Considering Raiders play of late that should be attainable. Atlanta @ Kansas City - I give. Chiefs lose by a hook in Tampa, lost ATS by 1 in Miami, a push in New Orleans, and not close to covering against the Panthers, Raiders or Broncos. Final Score: Chiefs 34, Falcons 24. NY Jets @ Cleveland - So the Jets screwed it up and won a game. Good news is Cincinnati also won so New York guaranteed top-two pick. Might as well go and win out.

Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh - Steelers crap the bed three straight weeks and Mike Tomlin has told Ju Ju Smith-Schuster to quit crapping on opponent logos. Hard one to handicap, Colts have feasted on subpar defenses lately. Spread went from Indy +2.5 to -1.5 after Monday night. Take Steelers as a home dog.

Chicago @ Jacksonville - Until the past two weeks, the Jaguars have been within a touchdown in several games and could have 4-5 wins with any sort of luck. JAX now holds the No. 1 pick, but maybe decide they would rather have Zach Wilson. NY Giants @ Baltimore - Remember when the Ravens were just crippled by Covid? That is in the past, B-More rolling lately. Cincinnati @ Houston - Deshaun Watson is actually in a virtual tie for second in passing rating with Patrick Mahomes. That said, this is 4-10 v. 3-10-1, nine points a bit heavy a spread for Texans.

Denver @ LA Chargers - Will Broncos have better plan to contain Justin Herbert the second time around. Maybe, Herbert looked just as good against Raiders in that rematch.

Carolina @ Washington - Ron Rivera revenge game, though a lot of people like Carolina. I see the Burgolders nailing down the NFC East. Philadelphia @ Dallas - Cowboys win division with two wins and two Washington losses. Stranger things have happened. Take Cowboys as home dog. LA Rams @ Seattle - After home debacle against the Jets, it would make perfect sense for the Rams to turn around and win in Seattle. Jekyll and Hyde theory.

Tennessee @ Green Bay - So Packers lose by a hook two weeks in a row. Perhaps Derrick Henry runs wild on the GBP run defense. Weather should not deter the passing game, about 15 degrees and little wind. Aaron Rodgers No. 1 in QB rating, Ryan Tannehill fourth. Packers 30, Titans 27. Buffalo @ New England - Patriots have gone from the Flying Elvis to Fat Elvis portion of their dynasty. Bills keep rolling with possible No. 2 seed still in play.

LOCKS: Tampa Bay @. Detroit, Arizona v. San Francisco, Miami @ Las Vegas, Cincinnati @ Houston, Washington v. Carolina

Overall Record: Last Week 5-9-2, Season 96-114-5

Locks Last Week 1-3-1, Season 40-33-2 PANDEMIC PORCH, Christmas Eve! Delightful 10 degrees without a breath of wind, and Blizzard of the Century ended up as a dud...
