If I could just get my ducks in a row, I suggested picking Washington but somehow had Dallas marked - and also picked against the Rams -5.5 thinking their game was in Chicago.
Both of those failed disastrously but somehow still managed a winning week. Can only go forward from here! Atlanta @ Carolina - I had the Falcons locked last week and got a just result, they had no business covering on an accidental touchdown, ATL might be better than Carolina but have no confidence in them. New England @ Buffalo - This is officially the time of year to start looking at Western New York weather forecast, this week calls for 25-35 MPH winds in part reflected with an over/under of 40.5. Considering Patriots hard pressed to score these days, -3.5 should not be hard to cover. Tennessee @ Cincinnati - Titans will likely win, but Tennessee is 2-4 against the number while the Bengals come in an impressive 5.2. Joe Burrow keeps his teams in games. Las Vegas @ Cleveland - I continue to consider the Browns like the Chicago Bears, not nearly as good as the won-loss record. That said, Cleveland gets the good fortune of getting both the Colts and Raiders at home. A Cleveland win will go a long ways in regards to playoff tiebreaker scenarios. Indianapolis @ Detroit - The Lions have actually made it to 3-3, but have long playoff odds competing with the NFC West. Like last week, Detroit will be playing this down to the wire. Minnesota @ Green Bay - The GBP comes into the week with a +38 point differential while the Vikings are at -37. The Packers come off an easy 35-20 win over equally defensively challenged Houston, expect a similar scoreline for this game.
NY Jets @ Kansas City - 19.5 and a half is a big number, but the Jets have lost their first seven games by a combined 118 points while the Chiefs come in at +75. That combines to Kansas City winning by 23 on an average day on a neutral field. LA Rams @ Miami - The AFC East is suddenly a winnable division for the Dolphins, a reason why Tua Tagovailoa is being thrown into the fire. Rams coming off a big win, but long road trip on a short week. Pittsburgh @ Baltimore - The Steelers survived a late Tennessee rally last week and stand as the NFL's last unbeaten. The road to the Super Bowl still goes through Baltimore and Kansas City however. Look for this slugfest to come down to a field goal. LA Chargers @ Denver - Weather in Denver should be just fine on Sunday, Justin Herbert appears to be the real deal at QB and the Chargers quickly swelled from a 1.5 to 3-point favorite. New Orleans @ Chicago - After their flaws were exposed in Los Angeles Monday night, the Bears obviously need to bounce back at home. Chicago does get four points at home.
San Francisco @ Seattle - The 49ers come off two consecutive huge wins while Seattle lost an overtime they led most of the night in Arizona. The Niners get Green Bay at home next Thursday, so this almost becomes a trap game. Seattle's turn to punch. Dallas @ Philadelphia - With an undrafted rookie possibly starting for Dallas this week, this game has been off the board.
Tampa Bay @ NY Giants - For the second week in a row Tampa gets an opponent hampered by Covid issues on their roster. Even at -11 look for the Bucs to cover.
