Format calls for 26 conference games along with the introduction of divisional play for one season. All eight member schools will play its first 10 games as part of a bubble at Baxter Arena in Omaha, the contests will be played throughout the first three weeks of December. The pod concept was voted unanimously by the NCHC's Board of Directors. Play is slated to return to campus venues in January for a 16-game home and away schedule. Programs can add additional non-conference games at their own discretion.
