Radical Minnesota Democrat Won Election - As a Wisconsin Resident

The execrable Ilhan Omar briefly served in the Minnesota House of Representatives before taking her anti-Semitic bigotry and hatred to the U.S. House.

The election of State Rep. John Thompson last fall — by nearly 50 points — to the Minnesota House is giving the Gopher State new trouble with left-wing hooliganism. Thompson’s latest hijinks have led to resignation calls. Even Minnesota DFL Chair Ken Martin expressed disappointment in Thompson, releasing a Sunday night statement that read in part, “Nobody is above the law, including our elected officials. We expect all of our elected officials, regardless of party, to not only follow the law, but to hold themselves to the highest standards. Alpha News reported Saturday about Thompson being pulled over last week because his car was missing its front license plate. He presented the police officer with his driver’s license — from Wisconsin! Turns out the erstwhile Black Lives Matter activist has never had a Minnesota license and his driving privileges were revoked two years ago for dereliction of child support. Thompson told the St. Paul Pioneer Press last week that, though he’s lived in the state nearly two decades, he never obtained a driver’s license. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation reports he’s had one there for 20 years and renewed it last fall. Minnesota law requires new residents to obtain a driver’s license within two months of relocation, and also imposes a six-month residency requirement on candidates for state legislature. Thompson had not met that marker, yet he won election in the state's second largest city. He probably should be removed from office. The Pioneer Press added, “The address or addresses on Thompson’s renewed and expired licenses are not public, but Wisconsin driver’s licenses are only available to Wisconsin residents.” St. Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell is pushing back against Thompson’s absurd but predictable charge that the sergeant who pulled him over was motivated by racism. Thompson is refusing to let the police release the body camera showing him getting his citation for driving without a front license plate. Thompson is also a profane bully and borderline criminal. He's known for threatening to burn suburban towns during his BLM days, while terrorizing Police Union leader Bob Kroll’s wife and children. Thompson’s rhetoric included, “We coming for everything that you motherf–ers took from us,” and “This whole [vulgarity] state burned down for 20 [vulgarity] dollars. You think we give a f– about burning Hugo down?” Additionally, Republican Rep. Eric Lucero filed a formal ethics complaint against Thompson Monday for a June 29 incident, where Lucero claimed Thompson, during a tantrum, “falsely and maliciously” stated that Lucero was a racist on the Minnesota House floor, while the body discussed an package related to higher education. Lucero is Hispanic, with an Indian wife and mixed race children.
