Giants, Diamondbacks Owners Contributed to Boebert


San Francisco Gate article reports that Giants owner Charles Johnson and his wife, along with Arizona Diamondbacks owner Ken Kendrick and his wife - contributed the maximum $2,800 each in the campaign of controversial Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert.


Johnson, 88 has reportedly contributed $11 million to Republican campaigns and causes since 2016, his net worth over the past two years has been reported to be between $4.8 and $6.4 billion, along with Atlanta Braves owner John C. Malone, they are the richest owners in Major League Baseball. The Kendricks contributions for GOP causes is said to be nearly $1.4 million. Wife Randy Kendrick did fund a super PAC in 2016 that portrayed Donald Trump as 'too reckless to be president.' MLB announced this week that it is suspending political contributions in light of the unprecedented events that occurred at the U.S. Capitol.
