A team director states Inter Milan and Denmark soccer star Christian Eriksen does not have COVID-19, but was not vaccinated before the midfielder collapsed and flatlined in the 42nd minute of his national teams game v. Finland at Euro 2020 over the weekend.
A cardiologist representing Tottenham Hotspur, where Eriksen played previously, said that Eriksen's annual examinations showed no evidence of potential cardiac concerns. The findings debunk theories brought on by the anti-vax crowd regarding the near-fatal medical episode that suspended the game for 90 minutes. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) was amongst players on the Denmark squad who questioned the game resuming same day. Denmark lost 1-0 despite dominating the game outshooting Finland 23-1.
