Just when you thought ordinances and restrictions under the guise of Covid-19 could not get more draconian, comes this from Gretchen Whitmer's state. Michigan bars and restaurants are now mandated to collect customer names and phone numbers for potential Covid tracing, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Other extensions of the epidemic order include no more than 50 patrons at indoor gatherings without fixed seating and no more than six customers at any one table. Now that establishments will have personal contact information, it is not a stretch to believe that it could be used for law enforcement and other agencies - another way for Big Brother to know where one's whereabouts.
Other states such as California are sure to follow if they have not already done so.
