Road America gets date in revamped 2021 NASCAR schedule, it marks the first event in stock car racing's top series to be held in Wisconsin in the modern era.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Circuit of the Americas will also host road course events, in all six such races will be held, up from two races traditionally held as recently as the late 2010s. The spring race at Bristol Motor Speedway will be NASCAR's first dirt track race since 1970.
Nashville Superspeedway has also been added to the schedule, with Darlington and Atlanta awarded second dates. Kentucky Speedway (opened in 2000) and Chicagoland Speedway (opened 2001) are both off the 2021 schedule, the first venues dropped since 1995.
