Meanwhile President Trump signs a stopgap funding measure to avert a year-end government shutdown. The measure gives lawmakers time to reach agreement on a Covid relief bill.
Also late Friday, Operation Warp Speed advisor Moncef Slaoui appeared on CNN and expressed concern over Trump pressuring the Food and Drug Administration over the approval of Covid-19 vaccine and that public confidence could be 'undermined'.
