College Football Mourns Loss of Utah RB Ty Jordan

Terrible news as University of Utah confirms the passing of star freshman running back Ty Jordan as the result of an apparent accidental gunshot wound in his native Denton, Texas. Just this week Jordan was named Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year along with second-team all-conference honors. He rushed for 597 yards in just 83 carries in the Utes truncated five-game campaign. His 119.4 yards per game led all NCAA freshman and his six touchdowns ranked third in the conference. University of Utah football alumni, Pac-12 players and coaches along with Utah Governor-Elect Spencer Cox were among the many to pay their respects to the 19 year-old on social media.
